For my 340 personal project, I tasked myself with designing and then modelling a semi-realistic early 2000s styled alternative woman, focusing on skin details, clothing and creating a variety of props! It gave me the opportunity to utilize Marvellous Designer for the clothing, creating the shirt, trousers and shoes within the application. I wanted to practise modelling props and use them to develop her character and show more about her interests. Props such as the headphones and Walkman are directly modelled after existing devices which I studied and created alphas to replicate the details of. I also created a series of tattoos to invoke the early 2000s, such as the stars which were especially popular at the time.
Her namesake is a combination between the names of two of my inspirations, Joan Jett and Amanda Young in Saw II!
