In the fourth week, I set myself to adjust the bridge's details before posting my first lighting pass. Furthermore, I took to researching the lighting locations and how each was lit within the set. I began with the sides of the bridge, and after some experimenting, I found that extruding out to create the section in the wall was the most effective method. I also took the time to edit the science station, fixing the proportions and adjusting it to the new extrusion. I followed this by adding strips of placeholder material for the emission under the overhang of the extruded areas as there are lights in those locations.
I also beveled the edges around the arches and corners of the extrusion to match my references. Then I moved onto the doorways, noting the space above the doors themselves, so I bridged the gaps to make the space larger.
With a more accurate lighting setup, my most recent mesh, and all of the emissive light, I took a series of high quality screenshots around the bridge.
I went on to render my bridge scene in Maya, using the mixer to render it with both ambient occultation and wireframe.

On Thursday I created my trim sheet in class, locating the different trim in my scene and planning out the sheet. I later altered the positions of the trim such as moving the science station trim together. I used extrusions and beveling to create and soften the shapes, not worrying about the topology and adding shapes on top. I colour-coded each piece using different materials and exported them to put into ZBrush.
Then I took my trim low and high into substance painter to bake, using the mural guide provided. I took the trim back to Maya for some final adjustments after seeing the bake and then I began detailing.
